Love Your Business Deeply Retreat
2+ transformational days where we’ll deep dive into your business; delve into what you really, deeply desire to create in your business; uncover and dissolve what’s holding you back; and begin to design a business (no matter how old) you truly, madly, deeply love.
Deep work, creative exercises, loving coaching, masterminding, group support to help you fall in love with your business again.
DATES: Sunday, October 30 – Wednesday, November 2, 2016
LOCATION: Taneytown, Maryland (only 60-90 minutes at most from the three major area airports)
How many of these sound familiar?
- Do you feel you’ve lost that oomph in your business that you once had?
- Does running your business feel heavy and a drag?
- Do you fondly remember the days when you were all fired up about your business and couldn’t wait to jump in? And those days seem long, long ago?
- Do you feel that there is some stumbling block, something holding you back from the bigness you can achieve, but you just don’t know what it is?
- Are you working too much in your business and not nearly enough ON your business? (When your days are filled with all the to-do’s, when do you work on the “big” stuff?)
- Do you suspect that you’re playing small – holding yourself back – and not living up to your potential?
Join me and other entrepreneurs (coaches, consultants, healers, marketers, association owners, writers, physical therapists, entrepreneurs, and other small business owners) on October 30-November 2 as we “escape” from the daily lives of our businesses, roll up our sleeves, and go deep to reclaim that love of our businesses.
In working with entrepreneurs and small business owners since 2002, I’ve never met a business owner who, at one point or another, hasn’t gotten to that hum-drum phase of her business. We all go through it.
The good news is that it’s normal and natural, I believe. We’re all evolving and stretching and growing… and our businesses sometimes aren’t as far along as we are… and they need to catch up.
So, that may be right where you are… you’re growing, and you’re feeling the pains of your business being stuck or paused “back there”… while you’re on your way moving forward.
Hence, why you need to get away from your daily life and business to spend time showing your business how deeply you love it by going deep and reclaiming why you started your business in the first place… and then creating from that place.
What exactly is this 2+day Love Your Business Deeply Retreat?
Basically, it’s a gift you’re giving yourself and your business to work on the relationship you have with your business. It’s a way to get out of your everyday environment and be with like-minded business owners who, like you, want to create your business as something amazing – in tune with your passion and purpose and your desire to change the world.
It’s the kick-in-the-pants you know you’ve needed for a while. It’s a way to get centered and grounded in your business. It’s a way to tell the truth about what’s going on… and, more importantly, about what you really want in your business.
And then we’re going to help you create that!
During this 2+day retreat, we’ll focus on tapping into your Deeper Why, why you even have this business of yours. Then, we’re going to uncover what’s holding you back from reaching your goals and having a business that feeds your soul. Finally, we’re going to put in place a Deep Action Plan so that you can continue the work from the Love Your Business Deeply Retreat to after you get back home.
Don’t worry… I’ll share fun, creative exercises to keep the energy high and your creativity flowing!
What you get:
- A true retreat experience – this isn’t a high-pressure, packed-to-the-gills, no-chance-to-breathe two days. Instead, you get coaching, exercises to go deep, and space to integrate your work.
- The support and guidance of a seasoned business coach and strategist (that’s me!) through 1:1 on time during the retreat.
- Love seat coaching to get you past any roadblocks.
- Creative yet powerful exercises to open up your soul and tap into your deeper purpose.
- Group support and feedback – so that you aren’t feeling alone in a vacuum or isolation.
- Lodging Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights (yes, lodging is included in the registration fee!). And these aren’t just regular ol’ hotel rooms. These rooms are designed to nurture you and help hold the sacred space we’re creating around you and your business.
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy snacks to keep you energized and motivated throughout the retreat.
- Special goodies to celebrate your commitment to your business and to you.
- Wine and cheese reception at the end of the retreat to celebrate all you’ve accomplished.
- A fabulous, sacred, intimate environment to make transformation, deep work, and shifts take place and take hold.
So you come to this 2+-day Love Your Business Deeply Retreat… what exactly is it going to do for you? What are you going to walk away with?
Well, first and foremost, you’re going to leave the retreat having fallen deeply and madly in love with your business again. That’s going to carry you far, my dear… Imagine going back home, re-energized, excited, and passionate about your business and what the two of you can do together.
Secondly, you’ll start thinking of your business as a partner. Not a ball-and-chain or a taskmaster or a burden for you… but a true partner in the world – with a supportive, positive, nurturing energy exchange. (Yeah, I know this might sound woo-woo, but imagine shifting your perspective to think of your business in this way… powerful!)
Third, you will see what’s been holding you back – and learn ways to shift that and come out of that cave – so that you can move forward confidently and successfully.
Fourth, you have the support and camaraderie of other business owners who are in the same boat you are… wanting to create a business from their souls and send them to the next level…. It’s a powerful dynamic – being in a group together with like-minded people doing like things.
Fifth, you get a safe, sacred space to nurture your business dreams. I’m known for creating sacred spaces to share, to be vulnerable (because this deeper work can certainly trigger our inner demons), and to actually blossom.
Sixth, you’re going to see where you’ve been and where you want to go. You’ll come to a place of acknowledgement and acceptance and love (instead of recriminations and self-blame), and move to a place of hope, confidence, and excitement about what’s possible in your business.
Finally, you get guidance, support, mentorship, creative exercises, and coaching from me. You don’t have to do this alone. You’re not going to be holed up in a cave to work on your business. You get to reach out for help, whether it’s for input on an idea or help to get past a stuck point. I’ll be there every step of the way.
In my work over the last 14+ years working with small business owners to help them create flourishing, successful businesses, I have found that people have common struggles claiming their expertise and playing big enouth to get them noticed in the world, and yet their hurdles feel so personal and vulnerable to them – like no one else in the world has issues. (And they’re wrong, by the way. We ALL struggle with that!)
When you’re in a group, and you see that others have some of the same concerns and can work through those together… some of those barriers dissolve.
I’ll help you work through the obstacles that get in your way… so that you’re making forward progress. No more stuckness. No more everything else taking precedence.
Just you falling in love with your business again.
Are you ready to nurture your dreams and goals and love your business again?
Here are some I’ve been getting, and I thought I’d share in case they were your questions, too. (And, if you have a question that isn’t here, please ask… and then I’ll post the answer because it might help someone else, too!)
Q: What’s a retreat going to do for me anyway? I can do this on my own.
A: Really? I don’t mean to be harsh, but if you were going to do it on your own, you would have already. There’s no shame in needing help, guidance, support, championing, and a safe space away from your normal environment to work on your business. Here’s what I know… if you want to say “Yes!” to this opportunity, that’s your soul and your intuition speaking to you. If you start to overthink it and doubt whether you should take the time and spend the money, then that’s the fear part of you wanting to keep you safe (or so it thinks). And it will keep coming up with excuses to keep you playing small.
Q: What if I get stuck, and I don’t know what I want for my business?
A: That’s what I’m here for. I’m not just here to watch you scramble for answers. I’m here as a coach to help pull the answers that are already inside you… That’s my gift. You’re not alone.
Q: Taneytown, Maryland, sounds far away. Why should I travel to do this 2+-day retreat?
A: You could certainly try a retreat at home, but you know as well as I do that your own environment comes filled with distractions and obligations. I’ve gone on several retreats – away from home – because I knew I just couldn’t do what I needed at home. You really need to be able to “get away from it all” – to escape – in order to really give your business the respect, time, love, and space it deserves.
Q: What will everyone else be working on? What if I’m in a completely different situation than everyone else?
A: That’s great if you’re in a different place… because you’re gonna be! Whether other people are at a different place than you are, you’ll be able to give each other valuable feedback. You’ll see where other people struggle, and where they succeed, and that will give you encouragement that you’re not alone.
If you’re still not sure about this, but you just know you want to come to the retreat, be in touch with me. I’ll be happy to help you figure it out!
Q: It seems expensive. Will it be worth it? What do I get for my money?
A: Let’s start with the practical answer first. The fee includes lodging for three nights, and all meals of your entire stay. The fee starts to look pretty good when you consider that once you get here, everything is taken care of. No extra costs, unless you want to go sightseeing in nearby Gettysburg, buy some souvenirs, or extend your stay. 🙂 The deeper answer is that investing in your business is something you should already be planning for and doing. Honestly, honey, you can’t do it all yourself (and neither can I, which is why I go to other conferences and retreats, and I work with a coach). If your business is a bit stuck or at the very least not building as fast as you want, isn’t investing in it to help get it to that higher level worth it? What if you could make back your investment and more within weeks of returning because you’re more fired about your business, in touch with your goals, and have a Deep Action Plan to get you there? The question about money starts to look a little different, doesn’t it?
Now, are you ready to come to this 2+Day Retreat?
This is going to be an amazing experience, and I truly mean that it will be an experience. It’s not just a live event where you get tons of content, no time to digest it, and then some upsell into a yearlong program. This retreat is a self-contained event in and of itself. Its purpose is not to be part of some sales funnel. (I have no problem with sales funnels; they’re smart. That’s just not what this retreat is.)
Its purpose is to help you fall deeply in love with your business.
The regular price for this retreat is $1,847, and that covers all lodging, meals, supplies, wine and cheese reception, little gifties, and your retreat fee. Through Friday, October 14, you can register your spot at the Love Your Business Deeply Retreat for $1,497, saving you $350, or you can pay via a two-payment plan with a $850 deposit and a second payment of $797 30 days later (making your total investment $1,647, which is still a savings of $200 over the regular price).
